Why We Do This
Music Moves Us.
Purpose Unites Us.
“Music has always held something magical for those with autism. I've seen it firsthand with my sister Marnie — it takes her somewhere better, somewhere only music can reach. I've always wanted to do something meaningful for the autism community but never really made the time or had the right team around me. After speaking with Sophia Townes, Director of Programs and Services at the Lowcountry Autism Foundation, I knew this was where my energy needed to go.
I'm very lucky to have Jay Nazz and Shannon Ford on board. Jay is a founding member of Reckless Kelly with a lifetime devoted to Americana and outlaw country. Shannon is a selfless soul who has dedicated her career to producing world-class music festivals. Together, I hope we've built something that lasts for a very long time.”
